Demons screeched while the smell of blood ran through the air. Tsukiyo swung his sword, severing his foe's head. Blood splashed across his pale face while sweat slipped between his armor.
A blast of wind severed a horde of enemy demons. Long spiny limbs twitched as green slime oozed onto the ground. "Tsukiyo!" said male with a flick of his powers sweeped the enemies aside. Briefly giving Okojo his attention he whacked an enemy across the field. A war cry sounded as both demons put their backs together.
"Were losing this battle!" the black and white haired demon growled, a tight grip on his sword. "As always your observation skills leave something to be desired." Tsukiyo bit back. The younger growled, glaring at his elder.
Most of their allies were split across the battlefield. Generals of the enemy forces were surrounding the two. "Ah, the two sons of the Yama no Daiyokai." a demon spoke. Generals parted as a man with purple hair and spiny armor came forth.
The younger brother growled. "Damn bug." his voice filled with anger. The man's dark eyes glared at the younger demon. However his black eyes shifted to his elder brother. The elder held just as much animosity towards him. Though unlike his brother, Tsukiyo burned with pure anger. Circling the two, the demon smirked at the elders seething gaze.
"You know." he began, placing his hand on his chin. He then pointed at the moonlight haired demon. "You look exactly like your twin." smirking as his millions of tiny teeth shined at Tsukiyo. The light haired demons eyes went wide with shock. "Yes, even down to the mark on your head." he mocked, flicking his own head.
On top of Tsukiyo's head sat a slender crescent moon turned upwards, branches dipping down to cradle above his brow. A star with three dots leading to the arc was in the middle. A dot sitting on the bridge of his nose.
Tsukiyo's body shook with contempt, this caused Okojo to glance behind him. "Hey, Tsukiyo, whose he talking about?" he whispered. "Be silent Okojo!" he yelled glaring at him. The demon laughed, "Oh, ahaha you haven't told him!" he cackled standing in front of them again.
Getting over his laughing fit, he whipped an invincible tear from his maroon eyes. "I would have thought that after finding the pelt you would have told him." he barked. "Told me what!" At this point Okojo's head was about to snap off to look at his brother. "It doesn't matter either way!" his smug voice holding assurance of victory. "You'll meet them in the underworld." Signalling to his generals they moved forward spears and swords drawn.
Putting his back against his brothers, Okojo growled. "When we get out of this. Your gonna explain all this. "
Tsukiyo glanced at his brother, sorrow in his eyes. Foolish little brother, this is our last stand.
Demonic aura flared, as everyone stilled thinking it was the elder son's. Thinking nothing of it, the enemy leader encouraged his troops on. In a sonic boom the battlefield was flattened, soldiers and generals on both sides fell while horses reared up, fleeing the grounds.
The field went silent while dust surrounded the two brothers. Groaning Tsukiyo was the first to sit up. Molten orange eyes grew to the size of a lake as a gasp escaped him.
Standing between him and the enemy leader stood the figure of his father. Impossible! Father died long ago. Slowly the mysterious demon turned, their molten eyes a near reflection of his own. Tsukiyo sat there frozen. Memories running through his mind.
"C'mon Kiyo, you gotta be faster." a young girl exclaimed, running through a field of lilies. "Pups be careful!" a man warned. "We will!" both children yelled giggling. A game of hide and seek had started.
A teen grunted as he was knocked off his feet. Looking up, his eyes stared into his own. "You alright little brother." they lightly mocked, holding out a hand. The teen rolled his eyes, "When are you going to stop that." he huffed, taking the hand. The other laughed as they helped him up. "C'mon, it's funny!" a laugh escaping them.
