The evening sun filtered softly through the curtains of Riya's room, bathing everything in a warm golden glow.

Tonight was the much-awaited Rathod Group & Co. success party. And for the first time in days, Riya had temporarily abandoned her laptop, emails, meetings, and endless schedules to focus on something far more important.

Getting ready.

Standing before her mirror, she carefully adjusted the pleats of her pink-and-white georgette saree. The lightweight fabric draped elegantly around her, adding a soft grace to her appearance. Her hair had been styled into a neat low bun, with a few loose strands framing her face naturally. A delicate pearl necklace rested against her neck while matching pearl drop earrings completed the look. On her wrist sat a wristwatch, adding just the right amount of sophistication.

From a distance, she looked effortlessly elegant.

Unfortunately, the expression on her face suggested she was currently planning a revenge.

<Riya's POV>

I swear, one day I'm actually going to lose my patience.

Standing in front of the mirror, I aggressively adjusted my saree pallu while remembering every single crime committed by one particular Corporate Villain during the last few days.

First, he publicly embarrassed me by announcing my almost-fall incident to half the office.

Then two days later, he scolded me in front of everyone just because I was talking to one male employee about a project. Nothing else.

And yesterday?

Yesterday he stole my coffee AGAIN. I had barely taken two sips when Mr. Khadoos Rathod suddenly appeared from nowhere, picked up my cup and said,

"Office hours mein coffee peene ka time nahi hai. Finish the reports first."

The audacity in his voice, no regrets for stealing my emotion... my coffee.

I narrowed my eyes at my reflection.

"Jokhoni bhabte shuru kori khadoos ta ototao khadoos na..."
(Whenever I start thinking that Khadoos isn't actually that khadoos...)

I folded my arms.

"Thik tokhoni onar oi khadoos behavior ta dekhate hoy ar amar onar byapre bhalo thoughts gulo uriye daye."
(Exactly then he has to show his khadoos behavior and blow away every good thought I have about him.)

A pause.

"Huh!!"

My glare intensified.

"Corporate Villain kothakar...!!"
(Absolute Corporate Villain...!!)
