PS. This one will hopefully be smaller than the last because the last one felt like I was going slightly into a story...
-------------------------------
It was that disastrous time of the year when you and you mum and dad went to Devon for a week. It hadn't always been disastrous, when you were small you and your sister always used to run around the Caravan park and play in the little splash pool. Sadly, your sister was 20 and in university and you were 17 and still in college. So, you were didn't really have anyone to entertain you.
The lack of wifi (THE HORROR) led to you ,once again, wondering around the caravan park by yourself. Although, unlike your childhood, this time to wondered a bit further that usual; so far that you were walking down a country lane and towards a group of tall yet slim houses.
Slightly worried about how you'd get back, you constantly had your head turned to look behind you, careful not to lose sight of your previous route. This was going well. So well in fact that you could remember all of the crooked lanes you had taken to get to where you were. Well... it was going well until you heard the noise of a ice cream van- soon followed by a hard thud and you falling to the floor.
As soon as that happened, your short term memory was lost. Trying not to look to panicked, you pushed yourself back onto your feet only to be met by a blurry black fuzz , which shrouded your eyes.
"Oh my God! Oh my God!"
You squinted you're eyes to try and focus on where the noise was coming from. Only to find that it came from a guy who ,although it sounds cliche, looked like a Demi-God.
"I'm so sorry! I didn't see you! Please don't have concussion!"
He looked so confused when you met his worry with a laugh.
"Jesus! I knew it! I pushed you down and now you have concussion! I'm so so so sorry!"
It took you about five minutes just to quiet him down and explain that you really were just fine. Once he was convinced he brought you a Twister from the ice cream van and didn't stop asking if you were alright.
Obviously, when you explained to him that you couldn't remember your way back to the caravan park, he was more that happy to walk you back. Although, despite his constant assurance that he knew where he was going, you ended up getting lost half a dozen times and by the time you were back it was getting dark. This led to him staying for dinner whilst his parents came to pick him up.
It was safe to say that the ,seemingly, catastrophic adventure with him gave you a lot of laughs and a really enjoyable time. so enjoyable that you just had to stay in touch... for a really really long time.
