Any who Happy Reading!!!

"Alex what are you doing here?" I asked surprised. This boy did not give up!

"Well you said you'd bring me a plate for Christmas dinner but we got released from our office chains so I thought I'd come to you. Didn't want you to be alone on Christmas." He said smiling.

As soon as I opened my mouth someone else spoke for me, "She isn't alone. Her boyfriend was just running late." Mataeo said. I couldn't help but to run outside and tackle him. I ran full force knocking him onto the ground covering his face with kisses. I finally let him get up and he gave me a now snow covered bouquet of roses.

"So I take it that you missed me?" he says with that cocky grin that I've desperately missed.

"More than you'll ever know. What are you doing here? You are supposed to be in your 100th meeting." I asked.

He laughed at my comment and said, "I told you if I would never intentionally disappoint you. My meetings ended early and I caught the first flight out of there.". As he finished speaking I heard barking. I looked at him quizzically.

"Did you bring my baby too?" I almost screamed with excitement. He went to the car door and out jumped Louie. I left Louie with Mataeo's housekeeper while I went to visit my parents. It crushed my heart that I couldn't bring him.

My family walked outside trying to see what all the commotion was about. Tonya seen Louie and literally screamed her head off. She took him from me in a flash. I couldn't help but laugh. I think she's just found a new best friend.  "Come meet my family. Well the rest of my family." I say as I drag him back to the porch.

"Mataeo is here! This is my mom, brother Timothy, my brother Tony, his wife Angela, and their two kids TJ and Tonya, and you've already met my dad." I say in one long breath.

He greets everyone and then I hear someone cough. "Oh yeah, and Alex is here." I say flatly.

Tonya comes racing back in the house with Louie before I can even stop her. "Sorry dad, I know you don't like dogs." I say.

"If my grand baby likes him then I like him. The same goes for my daughter." He says while looking at Mataeo.

"Come on babe let me show you around." I say pulling Mataeo into the house.

We all walk back inside with Alex following behind. To say I was excited would be an understatement. Tomorrow was Christmas Eve and I had all of my loved ones here.  I was stuck to Mataeo like glue. That is until Tony and Timothy needed help with someone thing in the garage. I knew what they were doing but if Mataeo was going to stick around he had to learn to love them too.

Mataeo's P.O.V.

I knew that meeting Eb's brothers would be one of my least favorite things in the world but as it turned out they were alright with me. After talking for awhile, I found out we knew a lot of the same people. We stayed in the garage and talked for a while, letting Alex chime in every now and then.  I just couldn't understand why he was even here.

"Forgive me for being blunt but why are you even here?" I asked turning to Alex. I knew I had just struck a chord with him.

"If you must know Ebony invited me. She said you had business to attend and left her all alone." He answered.

Timothy laughed and Tony gave me a pointed look. I knew what his face was asking. Hell no I wasn't going to let Alex press up on Ebony.

"Well seems like she isn't alone and I no longer have business to attend to. So how about you just leave?" I say standing from my seat. I was a problem that Alex didn't want to have. I knew he had a little crush on Eb but this was crossing the line.
