Introduction
Nicole Hayes was seventeen when she met Michael Bollet at a party she didn't even want to go to.
Nicole Hayes was seventeen when Michael Bollet stole her life.
Michael Bollet, or Mikey by the girls who chased him, Bullet by the boys who admired him, was a sociopathic drug dealer. Everyone knew him. Everyone who was smart steered clear of him. That didn't include most people. At twenty-three, Michael was the number one dealer in Nicole's upstate New York town. He was the guy to go to for a little thrill. He supplied drugs to rich kids who needed a kick, alcohol for parties that always ended in violence. Girls wanted him. Guys paid him. He was bad.
No one knew the extent of it. No one but Nicole.
Nicole Hayes life was taken from her right before her eyes. She made a choice, and that choice changed everything. She rejected him. Something no one else dared to do. She wished she hadn't.
It triggered something dark, an obsession. Michael Bollet always wanted what he couldn't have. He ripped Nicole right out of her life, brought her into a world of fear, crime, murder, and stolen innocence. A world of torture only that could be brought on by human evil. She was trapped, toyed with, forced to do things that made her sanity slowly slip away. Until she met Christian.
Then her life changed again.
He was supposed to be a victim. He was meant to die. Everyone on the subway was meant to die. But Christian wasn't another strange face. No, he was something greater. Something far past what anyone else could have been. He saved Nicole. But he also brought her into another world.
A world of evil that went beyond human.
