Macy is running. She's running from everything, everything she had, and everything she's known. And she doesn't plan on stopping any time soon. She needs to get out, she needs to figure out who she is. Macy doesn't want to live out her parent's failed dreams. She wants to create something of herself that isn't based in her home town, or even in a 50-mile radius of it. And what sucks is she's never left home, she's barely left the state... but here she is, leaving everything after that last straw was pulled. Granted, the last straw had been pulled soo many times beforehand, but she was too nice, too scared to leave. She simply did not have the strength to do it. Even when everything in her was screaming to just go, she couldn't.
Until now.
All of this is on a whim, that is unless you count the sleepless nights she had spent thinking about doing it or all the hours she wasted daydreaming about the stupid what if question she had been dying to answer. She's practically broke, doesn't have much with her and she's leaving alone. No warning, no note, not even a goodbye. Only a few people know that she's leaving, and even they didn't know when.
Even tho she's scared, the girl will do anything to not burn out like everyone else. Macy is absolutely terrified, but she needs this. Running away from what was once her life will only help her find herself. She could care less if that meant being alone, broke or lost. She absolutely needed to do it.
