War. Cale hated this word more than everything. But, after two years of suffering and being away from his goal dream, he could finally put this word behind him.
Being the supreme commander of the allied forces Cale never had the chance to rest. The rare times he could finally get some rest he would drown himself under a pile of books about war tactics and strategies. However from time to time he would find a book about different types of species may it be the flora, fauna or even living beings such as elves, dark elves, tribes and even dragons.
Having found this much information about the flora Cale ended up developing a rather quite obsessive interest on flowers and the many things we could do with them. Their meanings, their species, their colors, how to develop them. Nothing had any secret for Cale thanks to books. The only thing he still lacked informations about was the knowledge about flower crowns.
After a few months of working on perfectioning his flower crowns Cale finally had (according to him) all the qualifications to open his own flower shop. With the help of the children only a few weeks were needed to prepare the shop's outside and its shelfs.
Although he wasn't fond of having to work in a shop instead of developing his farm, Cale realized that opening such a shop in a small town like the Rain city could be quite amusing as long as his children and the wolf children were with him. Those same kids were going around the shop putting every flower into their vases and hanging their names' tag and price on it.
The day of the opening was very joyous, many people came from all over the continent to see their dear hero's flower shop and buy some bouquets to celebrate their victory over the White Star and Arm or just to offer some to their special ones. Overall, the day was rather calm but now it would change with the end of the day's upcoming party between Cale and his close friends.
Knowing how his friends were, Cale prefered to hold the party at the Rock Villa inside the Forest of Darkness so they wouldn't just destroy his newly build shop.
"So that's my friend's house ? HAHAHAHA I guess it's not that bad!"
"Toonka please calm down.... If you continue like that I can imagine the young master turning us down from entering"
One of the two men by the entrance seemed to be way too excited for his companion's liking. Seeing how his friend was overexcited the second man decided that it would be better to bring up some rules to follow to maintain a good dinner party and not ruin all of their friend's efforts.
"You should learn how to behave at least for tonight. Don't even think of picking up a fight with anyone and be careful not to break anything with your strength"
"Yeah yeah I got it! Let's stop talking now and just enter it's starting to be useless"
The two men named Harold and Toonka then approached the villa's door to knock on it. After waiting a few minutes they could hear the door unlock and could finally see what the villa's inside looked like. They looked towards the butler that was smiling towards them with a benign smile. Once they entered they were rapidly escorted by Ron to the room where the party would be held.
Seeing as almost everyone was already there, they apologized for their late arrival and sitted in their assigned seat. When Toonka looked at his left, he could see a beautiful blue haired woman that he could only help but know as the woman that he once fought while traveling to the Roan kingdom for the first time. Although they first started off not quite liking each other they ended up having a rather great relationship that could have only happened thanks to the one and only Cale Henituse, host of tonight's party. In fact almost everyone in this room became close friends thanks to that same person that saved all of them during the war so it was only a token of thanks and friendship to come to his opening party tonight.

After hearing from Ron about the presence of every guest Cale left his room after resting some time and went down the stairs to properly receive his friends.
Arriving at the door of the dining room, Cale could already hear all of his friends having fun with each other and they seemed like they wouldn't cause much trouble.
As soon as Cale entered the room everyone turned their attention towards him and smiled at him while giving many thanks for inviting them.
"I should be the one thanking you for coming when you probably had much more important things to do"
"How could anything be more important than my dear dongsaeng's opening party ? Only hearing that we were invited to it made our hearts jump of happiness knowing we could share such a special event with our dearest hero."
The crown prince was sitting next to his instructor-nim at the end of the table. He was enjoying a glass of wine that he could only drink during this type of event in which he knew no one would judge him for his bad etiquette. Alberu might not show it but he was more than glad for meeting Cale and making him his dongsaeng. Even though, Cale has been his source of trouble for the past few years, he was still the main reason why he could now call the people around him "family" without hiding who he was.
Cale soon sat at the end of the table next to Choi Han and Alberu. The kids averaging 8years old soon joined him and sat next to him to eat. Not being much hungry he just ate some of the food Beacrox prepared and observed the kids, wiping the corner of their lips with a tissue when he spotted some crumbs on them. As he finished the main meal, Cale failed to notice how everyone was looking at him with worry, not understanding why he ate such little food. Choi Han was the first to speak out of worry for his lord.
"Cale-nim... Are you okay? You didn't eat much."
Cale turned his head towards him and kept his neutral expression on while telling everything was fine and he didn't need to worry about such a thing.

It was almost midnight when Cale brought the group to the training grounds. Upon arrival, they looked around and were surprised by the room's decorations. Flower garland were hanging on the walls and tables with chairs around were placed inside of it. Cale told them to seat and wait a little. He then left with Beacrox following behind him and came back with different flower pots in hands. He put them each on a table and signed for the others to choose the ones they wanted to use.
"You should all choose the ones you prefer the most. We'll do an activity now so it might be better for you all to choose the ones you like most."
After everyone chose the one they liked more, Cale went in the front of the room where everyone could see him.
"Since everyone chose, now I'll show you what to do."
Cale then used the first 30 minutes of their activity to show step by step how to do a flower crown. The others tried to replicate his movements but it seemed harder than it looked. Cale went from table to table to help them but most of them didn't have much difficulties braiding the flowers together in a crown. What was harder was to not damage their petals out of pure physical force. Every time they damaged one they always expressed their deepest apologies to Cale being ashamed of themselves for not being able to control their strength and destroying the young master's hard work.
As the party was arriving to it's conclusion, most of them finally finished their crowns and we're proudly showing them off to the others. Cale smiled at the scene and like seeing his friends enjoying themselves so much in something he held so important in his heart. Cale then saw the kids approaching him with a big cake and something hidden behind their back.
"Is there something wrong?"
"H-human... Here it's for you!"
Raon then pushed the cake towards him and the three kids averaging 8 years old all looked at him with shy expression afraid of their human not liking the cake they baked for him.
"Thank you. But may I know the special occasion for me to get a cake?"
"It's for thanking Cale for taking us in three years ago nya!"
It was On that spoked first. She seemed to be the calmest of the three and didn't hesitate in her words. Hearing about how long they already known each other Cale's lips curled upward.
"So it's already been three years uh. Then I guess it's time I finally do what I wanted to do. Ron could you bring me the paper I asked for you to prepare?"
"Of course young master"
Ron went out of the room and came back a few minutes after. He gave the paper he was holding in his hands to Cale and smiled to the young master with his usual smile but Cale could see some proudness behind his eyes.
Cale took the paper and placed it in front of the kids' eyes. The three kids looked at it and all looked up at Cale with shining eyes when they realized what it was.
"H-human... That's"
"Adoption papers?!"
After saying those, Raon and Hong looked at each other and jumped around in happiness. On who didn't say anything yet just jumped into Cale's arms. Her brothers soon followed and Cale hugged his now official kids back. He could then see the kids take what they were hiding from him and gave it to him. It was a beautiful flower bouquet made of red roses. He smelled them and smiled petting his kids' head.
"Thank you very much. I have an idea on what I will do of them."
He looked at the bouquet and then started turning it into three small flower crowns. He placed each one on the kids' heads and smiled. The color of their flower crowns were perfectly matching with his hair. It was as if they were truly from the same blood family now.
"It suits you perfectly. We're all matching now."
Those beautiful flower crowns would be his last gift to them before their last time on earth.
