Chapter forty••
Lindseys POV~

It landed right on Jake Knight having Nicole Gordon up against a locker making out.... I thought he loved her? That's the girl he lost her with!
"Oh!" Kate said.
"My!" I said.
"FUCK!" Addison said.
Addison then started speed walking towards the two at full force.... she's gonna blow.
I follow her trail right behind her trying to stop her but there is no stopping this one! She then forcefully pulls Jake off of Nicole and Jakes looks beyond shocked while Nicole just looks evil.
"WHAT THE HELL?" Addison screams.
"What? Last time I checked you guys broke up and you had a mental break down." Nicole said with a smirk causing Addison to flip.
Addison then pushes Nicole up against the locker "You're the reason we broke up bitch because you're a slut!" Addison snapped.
"Not my fault you didn't please him." Nicole said back.
"Not my fault I wasn't easy." Addison said back with a smirk which made Nicole mad.
"I'm not easy, I wanted him and he wanted me simple." She said back.
"No he wanted me but was hurt so he needed someone to make his poor pathetic heart feel better." Addison said back in a harsh tone.
"Believe whatever you want but he still cheated on you for some one better." Nicole snapped.
"Please you are worthless seconds. He would take me back in a heart beat if I would let him but I'm not stupid enough to give to player another chance. I'm glad you're happy with being someones second choice and ruining relationships because now that's all you'll ever be. You will be someone's whore that doesn't mean a thing." Addison growled.
"Whatever you say goes in one ear and out the other so you can continue talking but it doesn't mean I'm listening. Just get over yourself and stop being jealous it doesn't look good on you." Nicole said back to Addison.
"We both know he down graded babe!" Addison simply said back.
"You better watch yourself." Nicole snapped back.
"Watch myself? Why I can kick your ass in a heart beat." Addison said.
"But you won't." Nicole said with a smirk.
"Wouldn't be to sure." Addison said back with a growl. Gosh I'm confused now.
"Well I am." Nicole spoke back. Wow nice come back idiot.
"He only wanted you despite me Nicole!" Addison snapped.
"Maybe that's true.. but who's is he with now?" Nicole asked Addison.
"As far as I know no one." Addison said back.
"Wrong again! This is my boyfriend now so feel free to leave." Nicole said and Addison slapped her across the face. That's when Jake grabbed Addison and pulled her away.
"What the hell Addison?" Jake asked.
"You just told me you loved me and now you're with the girl that made you lose me?" Addison yelled.
"You didn't want me!" Jake yelled.
"Have fun with my seconds bitch!" Addison said while walking away.
I was watching Addison walking away still glued to the floor going over in my head what just happen.
"You can leave to." Nicole said looking to me.
I walked past her pushing her into the locker making her slam her head and then turned to Jake and slapped him across his cheating face.
"You're disgusting." I said to Jake who looked beyond shocked.
Kill two birds with one stone. "Let's go Kate." I said while basically prancing away.
Maybe Addison did love Jake but I knew she loved Josh which makes things confusing. Can you love more than one person at a time? I'm not sure. I do know the saying if you fall in love with two people choose the second one because if you really loved the first you would have never fell for the second one.
But who did she love first?
"Addison!.... Addison." I yelled as she turned around and I hugged her. "Wanna go some place and talk about it." I asked her.
Addison then shook her head and said "Can you please take me to Josh's house?"
"Of course I can. Let's go to the car and I'll text him." I said sweetly, with that I was taking her to Josh's.

Addison's POV~
Lindsey just dropped me off at Josh's house and I'm happy I got time to cool down before I went. I walked up to the door and knocked on it alerting him I was here.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Please don't be Megan or another girlfriend I really feel like I can't take that right now. The stress would eat me alive... please Josh. Just then Josh opened the door. "Oh thank god." I said in my head.
"Oh thank god what?" Josh asked... I said that out loud?
"Oh nothing." I said and gave him a big hug.
"So what's up?" Josh asked.
"We're friends and I need to rant to someone who's not a girl and you're my first choice." I said with a small smile.
"Over Luke and Clay? I'm honored!" Josh said with a cheeky smile which made us both laugh.
"So I'm going to rant.." I said to Josh and he nodded.
"Go for it killer." He said.
"Jake said he loved me right? But after school I ran into him and Nicole making out and kinda freaked. I'm not sure why I did and that's why I need help. Nicole is a awful awful girl and she's so mean calling me all theses names and he just let her. Oh yeah and they are dating now." I said to him and his eyes were wide like he was trying to take in each piece of information.
"Jake might love you I honestly don't know why he wouldn't but you obviously turned him down and if you couldn't tell guys don't take that well. He probably went back to her because he was hurt, rebound obviously. If that's his girlfriend then that's his girl and he's not yours anymore Addi. I'm sorry." Josh said.
"No it's totally fine. That's honestly what I needed to hear." I said back to Josh.
"It's what guys do Addison. We're completely reckless and when we're hurting or don't know how to handle our feelings we do stupid shit. We all do it." He just with a shrug and light smile.
"You've done it?" I asked because as far as I knew Josh was the sweetest guy.
"Yeah I've done it." He said looking down.
"With what?" I asked really curious now.
"With dating Megan." He sighed. We never even really talked about that. One day they we're together and the next they were over.
"How did you do that with Megan?" I asked.
"Are you going to the beach day bonfire for school on Friday?" Josh asked completely changing the subject and I decided to let him just this once.
"I didn't hear about that probably because I've been gone for so long but yeah I would want too." I said back with a smile.
"Wanna go together, with everyone else of course." Josh said nervously... did he think I would say no?
"Of course!" I said sweetly.
"Want to watch a movie?" Josh asked.
"If I can pick."
"No.."
"Yes!"
"Please..!!"
"Fine" josh said. That was easy.
"Umm... let's watch The longest ride!" I yelled happily.
"Okay that ones not bad." Josh said while turning on the tv.
As we were watching the longest ride I felt like we kept getting close and closer some how but neither of us were moving. It was weird. Gravity anyone? Ok no forget I said that... that was stupid.
Now that I think about it... it's dark in his house, we're alone and we're watching a romantic movie. Uhh.. we're just friends Addison don't read to much into it.
By the time we were at the end of the movie I was basically in Josh's arms and we were laying together. I don't freaking remember getting in this position...
"Addison are you asleep?" Josh asked.
"No." I said slowly getting up.
"I didn't say you had to get up." Josh said.
"Oh it's okay." I said back.
Suddenly before he got a chance to say anything all the lights went out. Power outage... wanna know a secret? I'm scared of the dark.
"Oh my god! Oh my god!" The power is out I yelled awhile standing up.
"Addison it's okay!" Josh said.
"No it's not. It's really not.. I can't see" I said walking away. Josh's house is to big to have a power outage in... I won't be able to find the door.
"Addison where did you go?" Josh said and I know I was getting farther.
"I'm not sure, follow my voice..." I said back.
"Josh? Josh....? Hello.." I said again because he didn't answer. Oh god where is he? I'm actually scared now.
Then I was picked up by my waist and thrown over someone's shoulder. "This better be you Josh." I said to him and then he started laughing letting me know it was him. "Where are we going?" I asked because we were moving pretty quick. How could he see? Well Addison it is his house...
We were now outside.. I felt the cold air hit me and the sound of the slider opening. "Josh what are you doing?" I asked Seriously.
"Nothing.." He said innocently. I was then thrown into the pool... why does he always push me in the pool? I don't understand. The pool is heated so I'm very much thankful.
I come up for air and the only thing I say is "why?" He just starts laughing. I run out of the pool and started chasing Josh but my clothes were holding me down because they were soaking wet... so I took them off. I still have a bra and underwear on which was basically a bathing suit right?......
"Why are you always stripping?" Josh asked while laughing.
"So I can be faster." With that I ran after him and knocked him into the pool next to me.
Round two anyone? I think yes.
We hung out in the pool for awhile but it was getting darker by the minute because it was getting late so we decided to go in the hot tub for a little before I left.
We both got in and just enjoyed the water until Josh broke the silence with a question I hoped wouldn't be asked by any of the guys... thanks for breaking that one Josh's is so nosey.
"Hey Addison... um I have a question?"
"What's up?" I said with my head back on the jet and my eyes closed.
"Did you sleep with that Jessie guy?" He asked and my head flung up.
"What?" I asked cautiously.
"Did you sleep with Jessie?" He asked again now looking into my eyes.
"No I didn't but I did do other things.." I said looking down.
"That's not like you." Josh said.
"That was the point." I said with a sad smile.
"Did you sleep with Jake?" He asked.
"Why not just ask my body count?" I said laughing and he laughed too.
"Ok what's your body count?" He asked. Oh shit. I was totally kidding.
"I was kidding."
"I wasn't."
"0! What about you?" I said with a sweet smile.
"Two." He said back with a smirk. I was shocked to say the least.
"Damn."
"Which brings me back to my question. If its 0.. did you do anything with Jake?" He asked.
"Yes." I said and he looked straight into my eyes.
"So you dated Matthew for a year did stuff but didn't sleep with him although that's what he says, did stuff with Jake but didn't go far and same with Jessie?" He asked.
"Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!" I said like he was a winner.
"I now feel accomplished." Josh said.
"I should get going it's getting late." I said getting up and going to the stairs and he got up as well right behind me.
When I step on the stair my foot slips and I fall backwards thinking I'm going to hit my head but I'm then caught by Josh. I look up to see him staring right at me.
It feels like we've been like this for 5 minutes but it's been 5 seconds. I didn't want to move and he wasn't moving I had no idea what to do right now.
This felt like a moment from a princess moment, so cliché if you ask me. This moment was also romantic but we're not that way. Josh and I are friends, we've always been... nothing more. Right?
Suddenly Josh started leaning in closer and closer....... uh oh.
