The car motor faded into the back of her mind, her head stuck in one place, on one thing. Who is the one texting her, how could they have taken all these pictures without her knowing. After all, she had trained for things like this, sensing presences, so how did this happen? Wednesday was too lost in thought that she hadn't felt the turn of the car that was obviously the wrong way. Luckily though, thing did. He popped out of her backpack only to jump on her shoulder, look out of the window, look back at the driver, then back at Wednesday while signaling. "Where are your parents?" He asks almost frantically but clearly trying to keep his composure. His movements alerted Wednesday as she squinted her eyes, slowly looking up at the driver, he was eyeing her in the rear view mirror. As he saw her glaring at him he quickly took his eyes off her and back to the road. "Lurch." Wednesday calls out curiously as to what he'll do in response. ------- A story about 2 teenagers struggling mentally and physically. There past doesn't compliment them and their mental health is drained. They become friends and help each other get back to how they were while solving dark, life threatening mysteries.
