Doctor's Orders

After being told by her doctor that she needs to get away from her busy inner-city life for a weekend, Jackie is a nervous wreck. She's never been so outside of her comfort zone and she doesn't see the point in the weekend getaway. What should she wear? What does she need to bring? Where should she even go? Will her boss be okay with the voyage? Anxiety floods her life until her doctor makes a suggestion. Lee decided for the weekend to do what he intends for it to do, he should accompany her on the trip. Jackie and Lee set off for a three day weekend in the desolate wilderness to help Jackie loosen up. Can they do it, or will their relationship tread waters that a patient and doctor should never tread? Find out in Doctor's Orders!

At Risk

Kendall is taking a risk by buying the state's crazy horse, a fleabitten-grey Quarter Horse mare, but when her show horse is found dead in the barn, she sets out to find this new horse to show her community that she won't let this stop her and that she doesn't need Prince to win. Passion is a 5 year old mare who bucks any person who even tries to ride her, making her a very undesirable horse. She is supposed to go to the slaughter house, but Kendall feels like she needs to give the horse a chance. The crazy mare is yet again forced through weeks of stupid drills and dumb training procedures when it seems that she finally gets through to the horse. Even so, the pair are expected to fail miserably. Kendall, however, is determined to show every pair of doubtful eyes that she won't give up on this horse. Even though everyone in the state of Ohio has given up on her, the misunderstood mare is not just another problem horse; she is determined to show everyone that the two together have the power to crush every person and horse at the fairgrounds. She is ready to show the world what she can do with the state's problem horse.

*currently on hold* Ava Branning didn't think she was doing anything particularly wrong by swimming in a dirty park river at four o'clock in the morning. The nine year old just wanted a bath. She didn't care what temperature the freezing water actually was. But when a man proclaiming himself to be 'Officer Styles' runs up and starts shouting at her when he's on his nightly patrol and his work experience partner, 'Mr Horan', wants to get her back to her parents as quickly as possible before she catches her death, all hell breaks lose for the little girl. Because how can somebody travel to a place called home if they've never had one? And how, how was she supposed to know that her parents were the ones who didn't want her home in the first place? For goodness sake, all Ava wanted was a bloody bath.
