Trepidation is a common theme in romance fiction. "Her heart raced a thousand miles a minute as her hands shake uncontrollably: she'd never felt more in love." And yes, many great and, so called, timeless authors wrote of the novelty and insecurity that seeps through your chest as you experience your first love. Honestly, don't fool yourself, love doesn't exist. Doesn't matter if it's someone you seek romance with or just someone who would have a converation with you. Loves fake.
