Izuku has been around since the beginning, along the way he met a strange creature that had the features of a dog and a bear. He took pity on the creature because it was hurt. He later learned this creature could speak like that of a human and had little intelligence. He took it in, taught it the ways of the world, and gave it a name. It now goes by Nezu. Izuku refused to let the world know of them. They were immortal beings of unimaginable power, but the people were far more dangerous in their earlier times. As time went on, they learned alongside the people. All the new things they decided that people needed to know to be intelligent. But as time progressed, people seemed to 'dumb down. They turned against each other, anyone who was different was considered an outcast and disregarded. One day a child was born glowing and that started a new era. The era of quirks or superpowers if you will. Izuku and Nezu slowly started to introduce themselves into society. It took a hundred years before people started to shun those who did not have this supernatural ability. Nezu had fully introduced himself, and because of his high intellect became the principal of a school. Izuku couldn't bring himself to the people. He was disgusted by them. Instead, he hid himself away. He stayed with Nezu at all times. Nobody seemed to notice him. A powerful wind roared to life, lifting debris into the air and sending it hurtling toward the Sentinels, forcing them to retreat. But even as I summoned the power, there was a part of me that recoiled at the devastation I was capable of. Edith's golden heart, her desire to protect, mingled with my fear, creating a strange balance. I wasn't just attacking-I was trying to survive. The Sentinels, now retreating into the shadows, exchanged wary glances. One of them, the leader, gave a sharp signal, and they melted into the darkness, vanishing as swiftly as they had appeared. I stood there, panting, my body trembling with the aftershocks of the power I had unleashed. The storm continued to rage, but the world felt... quieter, as if the chaos within me had calmed-at least for now. "Edith," I whispered, my voice raw. "What did I just do?" Her presence lingered within me, gentle and reassuring. "You did what was necessary to survive. And you will continue to do so. Trust yourself, Aether." For the first time since the Oracle's Eye had chosen me, I felt a flicker of control. Maybe the Champion was destined to rise-but I would rise on my terms, with Edith at my side. And I wouldn't let anyone, not even the Sentinels, dictate my fate.
