I just laid there in the street, unable to get up. Unable to even scream for help. My thoughts told me to open my mouth, but my voice felt clogged. My eyes wanted to look around, but my head couldn't turn. And I just laid there, not knowing what to do. And I decided to just pray that someone would find me. I prayed that she'd come rescue me. And I looked up to the sky because I wanted to see something beautiful and hopeful. I needed to focus on staying awake and holding onto life. And then it happened. And then she appeared. Tears flowing from her pretty eyes, down her pretty cheeks, and getting tangled in her pretty hair. All I could think about was how beautiful she was. I knew her smart self knew what to do, but I didn't know if she'd be able to save me in time. All I could think was that I love her for trying.
