The Black and White

Under the guise of a simple messenger, Kane - formerly Aru - once more finds himself taking up his spirit name, as he returns once more to the world he could only dream of for two straight years. But though his return sparks excitement within him, that isn't to say his home-world has been devoid of interests. The world of magic now open to him, Kane finds himself enthralled by every facet of knowledge, every oddity, and every person he finds along the way; and so it came as quite the shock when Kane found that even his own close family had magical roots, a fact he only overcame with much difficulty. But nevertheless, he soon finds himself struggling to find his place in the world, both worlds in fact. His life on earth soon takes a backseat however, as in a moment of disaster, Kane quickly finds himself washed up on the beaches of yet another unfamiliar land; all in a bid to retrieve his lost friend, he must now traverse these foreign lands, both for his and his dear friends sake. They will soon discover that nothing is as it seems however, as much like the land they had rescued, so too is the land here ridden with a rot spirits such as themselves were born to fight. Kane will discover many things on his journey, the intricacies of spirits; the complexity of the world around them; the awe inspiring scenery they find themselves surrounded by; but most importantly, they will discover what the one familiar face at their side truly means to them, through tragedy or otherwise. But as night falls, Aru will realise something. If it starts with a storm. So too will it end with one.

Glimpses

I want to start writing short teaser stories of bigger stories I've thought of somewhere down the line. I thought about keeping them to myself until I maybe expanded one of them into something bigger, but where's the fun in that! And that being said, here you go. This is probably gonna be a mix of fanfiction and original stories, I'll be sure to label them as such but to keep it interesting I won't tell you the name of the fanfictions. I'll leave that up to you. Please bear in mind that whatever I publish here will most likely be very rough. Either not having much thought put into it and being more something I wanted to do in the heat of the moment; or just being a thought I wanted to put to paper. So with that being said, if you see something you like, or recognise be sure to let me know!

Fight together (Ori and the blind forest fanfic)

This is a fanfiction, but you don't have to know the game to enjoy the story. Comment on anything in particular you find interesting or want to know more about and I will try to elaborate further. This story will also be based off the definitive edition of the game, but like I said before, you don't have to know the game at all to enjoy the story. All pictures are not mine and will belong to their individual creators. Waking up in a different body, in a different world, with different abilities, is not something, H, dreamed of nor really wanted in the first place. After throwing a paralysed pedestrian out of the way of a tumbling car, H, himself was struck by an almost fatal blow that would soon take his life if something wasn't done. But something was keeping him alive, but what, was a question that no-one has the answer to. H's, friends are well aware of this, and would much rather go head to head with the underworlds leading hunter organisation then sit tight and hope for the best. So with only a staff, a sword, and a set of daggers, and three backpacks, their journey begins. Warning: If you think I'd be holding back in the swearing, well let me tell ya something. No... This will contain strong language with no restraint. You have been warned. And another heads up. I will be making big changes to how the story played out in the games. And some changes around the story to make it writable; more like adding in my own parts, or taking them out entirely and remaking them in my eyes.
