The scream of a child... It was Calypso. I jumped up on my feet and didn't even bother to brush myself off before diving back into the maze of woods. The scream had come from the right so I headed in that direction. I ran through a bush and I probably got many cuts, but then, all I wanted to do was get my sister. The same scream sounded again and this time I could form out words. "HELP!" My sister screams and wails. My eyes start welling up. They couldn't do this. They couldn't take my sister away. The only spark of light in the darkness of my mind. Scarlet is a 20 year old woman. Her and her sister Calypso, have just been recently been teleported to this fascinating world where they fight to stay alive. Once Calypso dies, Scarlet navigates her way around to a beautiful place named Rivendell where all her adventures start. In this book, Scarlet forges on forward into her life, finding hope that she did not know existed.
