"That's when the Chaos Theory popped into my head, kind of like a black streak of paint accidentally drawn across a canvas. The theory states that something as small as a butterfly flapping it's wings at the perfect time, in the perfect place, will later cause a hurricane. Any moment, any movement, any detail may be your undoing. I didn't give it much thought, but for a split second I wondered if I was some sort of trigger; If I was a misplaced music note, or a melody in her life's now finished symphony." When recently-not-Senior Gillian receives a somber call from the police department, she is not shocked. Seeking a final excursion with her friends before they separate and escape from their quaint town, they embark on a road trip to find more than Kansas's very own Wizard of Oz Musuem and the Worlds Largest Ball of Yarn. They are not there to discover themselves, as the popular cliche goes, but to discover the words written between the lines of Gillian's mothers all too discreet life. To discover which flap of which butterfly's wings drove her to insanity but more importantly off a bridge.
