After using its divine and mysterious powers to help try and stop the World War that's ravaged it for 50 years, she has since decided to go on a quest with her best friend Rachel to find out what her world would be like if the war that created her had never come to be - a difficult task for someone just learning how to navigate the transdimensional sea. But Kyle isn't above exploring, and so uses her free reign over the multiverse as a means to learn more about the people who inhabit it and the human species in general. From absurd worlds overrun by the physical manifestations of internet trolls to more tragic worlds where humans are hunted by a sentient, brain-devouring fungus, she discovers "infinity" does really mean everything she can think of. Kyle wants to be a hero, but she has a lot to learn - you don't get to change the world without upsetting a few people who like it the way it is, and you certainly don't get to be one without making a few enemies.
