The era of piracy has ended. Those with the power of the devil have practically become myths and legends Pirate crews have evolved into gangs where those with the blood of the devil are sort out in order for the gangs to become stronger and conquer more territories of the Grand Line. In this modern age, an academy has been built for the possessors of the devil fruit to school them on how to use their unholy powers while teaching others that have different type of talents. This school is called One Piece Academy, named after the infamous treasure left behind by the late Pirate King himself. {DISCLAIMER}: I do not own One Piece or any of the characters featured within it nor the original plot to the manga and anime that right belongs to Eiichiro Oda. Neither do I own the lyrics of the song I used within those belong to respected artist, VNV Nation. The only thing I own is my own OC's and their stories.

In the modern age, piracy has ended and made way to a new era; one of technology and science. The Devil Fruits still curse the world, though more of a rarity than before. Pirates have turned into gangs and the Marines have become the Military, being judge and jury against all those whom defy them. Trafalgar Law is a surgeon and doctor at the local hospital in Grand Line City, a notorious territory made up of towns of many different cultures, and also an infamous doctor known throughout the underground world for tending to the wounds that people wouldn't want treated at a normal hospital. In his spare time, he is annoyed by his roommate, Twilight D. Umbra, who has been a patient of his for years now. They both live in a cosy flat block which consists of many different occupants with their own odd characteristics. The flat never seem to ceased of drama or destruction with the presence of a certain rubber man. {This is a side story of my other One Piece fanfiction, Illusion, which I may or may not have published at this time being They are both set in the same alternative universe. Eleven years ago, a young dark-haired girl transformed into something inhuman and her whole village was destroyed. The fallen village was soon over-run by Exorcists whose ambition was to kill the young powerful monster but they didn't expect that someone would take her in as their own. Maggus Yoakeishi, an expert Exorcist, saved the monster and treated her as her child, naming her, training her in Exorcism and giving her a holy cross that keeps the monster at bay. But the Exorcists never forgot and still search for the small Lycanthrope even after five years. Both the retired Exorcist and child are still on the run from the Church knights until they arrive at Kurosu City, a rural town like city on the outskirts of Japan. Where Seiba, the Lycanthrope, meets a group of trainee Exorcists in her new high school. Fortunately, none of them are able to recognise her as the monster she hides within her.
