Be warned that at times, I may address something decidedly controversial but it is all in the name of empathy and growth. Don't be shy to voice your opinion, but please do so in a respectful manner. If you must have a debate about something, approach with facts rather than ignorance because ignorance breeds only hate and this is not a place of hate but a place of discovery. I'm sure you know the story of Heaven and Hell. You're good and you go to Heaven, you're bad and you go to Hell, kinda like Santa's Naughty and Nice list. Except It doesn't work that way. It doesn't matter how much good you do and how much bad you do in Life. What matters is what your Soul, the real you, is like. You can give away food with a smile on your face and horrible thoughts in your mind. Likewise you can rob someone and feel bad about it afterward. That's what I mean. Your deeds have nothing to do with your Soul. So then How does it really work? ■ Understand that this is not light and fluffy. If you can't handle dark and grim then don't read this. It's not for you. You've been warned.

The world has been ravished by several wars and mankind is forced to pick up the pieces of their broken lives and put them back together giving rise to a patriarchal civilization in which women are oppressed just like it was in the olden days. Women are forced to masquerade as men to fulfill dreams and take care of needs facing the steep penalty of death should they be discovered. But in this new era there is more than just oppression to fear especially when people with strange powers are brought together by an enemy hellbent on the destruction of the already fragile peace that has been obtained.
