Acting is a very difficult business to get into without any experience. Without any experience however it is very difficult to get any job at all. A vicious cycle that is hard to break unless you're lucky. Blaze is determined to be one of the ones to make it lucky. She has returned to her home town of Rosepetal to try and succeed at Thorn Pictures, a company well-known for it's success. But there is a group of people who come together on occasion to work on projects fated to be a success. And Blaze is about to join them. Shadow and Sonic are the Godsons of Beauty Rose, the CEO and founder of Thorn Pictures. The elder brother has worked with her since he left school at eighteen, now Shadow has been given the lead on her latest project. Sonic is still in school but feels secure in the knowledge will always be open to him as well. However he desires to make his fortune on the running track. Amy is the daughter of Beauty although no one would guess unless they told you. Her mother is not like other and their house is the studios. Their lives are the studios. Amy studies in the attic of the facilities where they live and spends her days running errands for others. Beauty knows talent however and assigned Amy the role of junior set designer. Amy isn't about to complain. Along with the rest of their friends, this group of vastly different people must come together and work on this project. As well as maintaining their lives off and on the camera.

Rainbow Dash has spent the last year at Canterlot High in a flurry of magic, wonder and adventure. First, two girls from an alternate pony world came to their school however one was bent on ruling their world while the other wanted to save them. After Twilight Sparkle had helped to reunite her friends and defeat Sunset Shimmer, Rainbow and her friends all unlocked the Magic of Friendship. Then there was the Battle of the Bands where she discovered her passion for music however her competitive spirit had nearly caused them to fail. The long-awaited Friendship Games where Rainbow and the others started to pony-up randomly but their magic is taken away- by their world Twilight Sparkle! That had nearly destroyed their world as well. Finally, there was Camp Everfree which had been a blast. That had been Rainbow's favourite trip for she'd obtained the power of super speed! One heck of a year, alongside her best friends. However when the new year starts, Rainbow receives a letter that threatens to rip apart her new life. For she has a secret, much bigger than a pony world or the Magic of Friendship. If this secret got out, it would be the end of Rainbow's time at Canterlot High... Although if she doesn't answer the letter's call, it could be the end... Of the entire world!

However there is one new change this year: Her new tutor, Mr Anakin Skywalker. The boys think he's the coolest person to ever walk through the halls, the girls practically swoon of he walks by and the teachers wonder how he's so good. Ahsoka doesn't do any of that though, however she does feel a strange pull towards the newest member of their school. Anakin Skywalker has recently celebrated his fifth wedding anniversary with his wife Padme Amidala. Starting a new job at Temple Academy would be a piece of cake in his eyes. Finishing his teaching course with flying colours, nothing can faze him. Then him and his wife get some... News and their happy life is immediately disrupted. Then he meets his new students and his life has a new bright spark. But he can see the cracks in their lives and can't stop himself from helping when they need it. So when Ahsoka's home life starts to fall apart and her classmates reveal who they really are, Ahsoka needs someone to turn to and the family-planning Tutor might be a solution.
