But when all hope seems most forever, Lady Luck had then shone down brightly on the frail figure of the girl and she was rescued. A wonderful miracle it had been, for the man to stumble down that particular alleyway at that particular time, too well-planned for it to simply be a coincidence. And the poor girl was then given a second chance, to restart a life that she never had a chance to live and to fulfill a promise she had made during the dark memories of her earlier years. A promise that had been locked tightly at the deepest end of her mind where it will forever haunt the girl. And she lets it take over her very being.

The Limit [Book 1]

Based on the 2016 thriller sci-fi web film, The Thinning. Vera is what you may consider a genius. With an over-exceeding IQ score, everyone expected her to make it past all twelve school years. However, in a politically manipulating and overpopulated world, extra measures had to be taken to ensure that certain students get a disadvantage. All of a sudden, grades don't seem to matter anymore. The United Nations is facing a problem. In short, there's less land and too many people. Despite China's "one-child per family law" and several other regulations, the universal population is ever-growing and resources are drying out. Therefore, the natural thing to do is to simply cut out the irrelevant parts of society. This process is called Modum, or simply The Limit.

Based of the popular melodrama series Descendants of the Sun. Captain Yoo Shi Jin has a lot of secrets that have to be kept confidential. Usually, that would limit any relationships that were made outside of his line of work as it would require an understanding and trustworthy partner. So when he met that one doctor at that one hospital after a run-in with a thief and a gang, what should have happened? Their paths should not have been crossed, they should not have been involved anymore with each other except for treatment at the hospital. And yet they were, and bad things happened because of a mere miscalculation. But despite that though, can they find happiness? When they are surrounded by blood, sweat, tears, and trapped within regulations? Is that even possible? Hey guys, it's EnigmaV. As you may know, this is a DOTS fan fiction but because I don't particularly like the female lead (Song Hye Kyo) and some of her lines, I put my own OC in her place.
