It seems like no big deal, just a few harmless letters to a friend, but Keira isn't sending them. They stay in a pile in her messy room. Why is that? She doesn't want Sam to read them. Why is that? Well, it's for the same reason that Keira is starting a new school this year. Dear Sam is the story of this troubled teen, how she makes new friends, and how she overcomes the demons of her past that haunt her. I guess there are demons in this story then!
