I would consider my poems to be more melodic. They have a flow and rhythm to them rather than pure rhymes. Some are rhyme based, but most are not. Think of them as a song that follows a melody based in emotions than in instruments and it should get easier to read.

NOTE: The styles of the poems vary greatly based on the mood I'm in when I write them. If you don't like one of the styles, pick a new one and maybe it'll suit your fancy.

Alone with our thoughts, ideas grow and come together to form new life. A new way of seeing things that might otherwise be familiar. Written in a classic storyteller fashion, this book is a collection of such thoughts that explore a range of topics including the creation of mermaids and the seasons.

This is my first time writing something and sharing it out there with the world. It's being done for fun (or at least as a distraction from life, the universe and everything), so there's no update schedule or anything like that. Everything is my own original work and cannot be used without my permission. I'm only publishing these here on Wattpad (I'll update if that changes) so please let me know if you see them elsewhere.

And if no one has told you today: You are awesome!
Start Reading

Mythological Collection

Poems - Sad and Dark

pixiepheonix / 6 pages
Poems that are a response to the not-as-pleasant emotions that all humans have the *wonderful* joy of experiencing.

Some were written as a real personal response. Some were written as a joke or due to me being dramatic/sarcastic and the style/emotion conveyed meant it fit better here than in my other poems book.

I make no guarantees as to its quality.

I would consider my poems to be melodic. They have a flow and rhythm to them rather than pure rhymes. Some are rhyme based, but most are not. Think of them as a song that follows a melody based in emotions than in instruments and it should get easier to read.

NOTE: My style has changed over time so no need to read them in order. Feel free to skip ahead.

The first 7 was also written under a timer. I had less than 3 minutes per poem once I was given the last line. Why? Because this started as a game between my brother and I when we were bored during a meeting. Not all of them will be done with a time limit, but the first 7 will have been.

The last line will vary between being a single word, to a sentence. It will be placed as the title of each piece as well so you can pick which ones intrigue ypu the most.
Start Reading

Last Line Poetry

Writings of a College Student: Knowledge, Thoughts, Etc.

pixiepheonix / 11 pages
For college, I write a lot of papers. Others are on topics I find very interesting and enjoyed being able to compile the information and my thoughts on the matter. Those are the ones that will end up here - along with anything else I write that's not fantasy-based or poetry (I.E. philosophy, religion, social trends, psychology). I'll also share (if Wattpad formatting lets me) formatting and citing tips for various styles. Feel free and ask questions about what you read, where/how to find more information, recommendations, and even ideas one what to write for a paper. There will probably be some sections for the sole purpose of having a discussion that will consist of the topic and any thoughts/questions I have on the matter. Feel free and add your own thoughts and references and share what you've been learning!

There's no such thing as useless information so much as there is information not currently relevent.

WARNING: Any and all papers that I share are NOT to be placed anywhere that I don't put them. They are not for you to use (unless properly cited, in which case reach out to me), and all have been turned in to my classes using anti-plagiarism software. Meaning - they are all in a database with my information as being the original author, and you will have your paper flagged and get a warning, suspension, or could even be kicked out of school (or lose your degree if it's found out after the fact) if you try to turn any of these in as your own work.
Start Reading

Writings of a College Student: Knowledge, Thoughts, Etc.

Prompt Anthology

pixiepheonix / 2 pages
An anthology of sorts with a collection of stories based on writing prompts that will range categories. No writing schedule, just me writing for the joy of it. Feel free and use any of the prompts in here yourself. Tag me if you do! I'd love to read what you come up with! XD
