One warm spring day, Val is relaxing on her bed, reading about the news, and thinking back to when she arrived in the U.S. as an immigrant from Venezuela, with her parents, almost seventeen years before. She is surprised when her adorable Minnesotan friend (or more than a friend) shows up to hang out. In the process they connect with one another, have some awkwardness, eat together, and enjoy one another's company, while their love continues to blossom like a beautiful centaurea cyanus flower. In a dystopia, happiness is illegal

Collection of random poems I think of from time to time. Thought it might be better to collect them into one, rather than having lots of separate files. No particular theme, and the poems may or may not be completed.

What happens when a lonely teenager is depressed during the summer and thinks about his crush all the time? He walks in the beginning of the next school year with confidence.

An autobiography: Living in New York, I decided to keep myself motivated and awake by writing what I am experiencing. As a college student with siblings of different age ranges, I am able to speak upon many grade levels. I am writing this to look back at what was once happening. I hope this story isn't so long ... here's to high hopes! (:
