"Have to Let It Linger" is a story of a teenage girl trying to make sense of her strange dreams and real-life impulses while dealing with disorders that grow destructive with her. She's met with strong lingering feelings about both those things, and it slowly weakens her worldview, making her question reality while also being hyperaware of reality. It all falls down exhaustingly for her, yet in the midst of all this, she tries to make her social life better but she doesn't realise how thin the gap of reality and fiction has gotten.

Lena doesn't need loud love. She needs steady love. Some days are easier than others, and some feelings are harder to name-especially the ones tied to food, control, and fear. Kara doesn't try to force those moments away. She just stays. And slowly, Lena learns she doesn't have to handle any of it alone.
