Everyone remembers how they died even if they claim they don't, it's just nobody likes to talk about it. It doesn't surprise me that nobody wants to talk about it, death really isn't a happy subject. Death isn't just about pain and suffering, I mean I didn't suffer, not one bit of pain shot through my body, I was just gone. The reason people don't like to talk about how they died is because being ripped away from the people you love most isn't an easy thing to comprehend. It's not like the end of summer when you get out of school and don't see all of your friends for a few months, it's more like being towed away to prison for the rest of your life without receiving any contact with the outside world, ever. You never get to see the people you love again, you never get to go to that little ice cream shop in the outskirts of town where you got your first kiss, and you never get to spend hours on end talking about that cute boy who sits in the back of the room in your history class with your best friend. Death is a terrible terrible thing and after I died I thought I would be miserable forever. But I'm not. Is it weird for me to say I am actually quite happy?
