Tan skin, hot bods, you all know them. They save lives on a daily basis and still look good doing it. The Lifeguards. Danni has scored one of the best summer jobs she could ever dream of. She has always admired them from afar and now, she gets to be one. Of course being a lifeguard is a very serious job with lots of responsibilities- but it doesn’t mean she can’t enjoy the perks too. Right? Wrong. Relationships between fellow lifeguards are strictly forbidden. Anyone caught ‘canoodling’ behind the stands is automatically fired. No exceptions. So what happens when Danni manages to break this one rule? Shit hits the fan. *** “No exceptions-“ His lips crashed down on mine, like when a rough wave crashes onto the shores we watch. This kiss, was filled with hunger and excitement. I wrapped my hands through his sand colored hair and my legs around his firm tan body. This would be the only and final time we kissed. After, I would avoid him as much as possible and show no signs that I might be physically attracted to him. But as our kiss deepened, I somehow knew that this wouldn’t be the last time. We gasped for air and then he buried his head into my neck, slowly leaving a trail of kisses towards my collar bone. Mr. Lee only gave us one rule, and I managed to break it.

I used to doubt God’s ways, always thought that maybe His blessing would never be on my side. But to every belief and to every situation there is an exception. In my case, it came in a form of a beautiful man. He showed me how life could be inspirational, how easy it is to be happy, how unnecessary it is to be alone, how fulfilling it is to be with someone. He was my only exception.

She was like a drug to me. From the way she smiled and even from the way she walked. She was all I ever wanted. If only she knew I existed.

This is the story of how I died. Died, leaving all of my loved ones behind. If they loved me is unknown. But I knew for sure that one particular person loved me. Rae Evans has always had a talent for dancing, although she has never enjoyed it. Rae believes that life is too short to pass up an opportunity like KEEPING IT REAL DANCE ACADEMY. Naturally, if she declines the nationally famous Academy she may never succeed in life. Although, Rae is only 17, she is well above the curriculum, and decides to finish Secondary School early. ‘K.I.R’ is eager to train Rae into a true ballerina, but in order to stay in the Academy where the only people here are professionals Rae must push herself to limits she never thought were possible. Just when Rae feels as if she’s been deceived by the Dance Academy itself, she meets the bizarre Drake Sinclair. Intrigued by his sexy, mysterious looks and surreal personality she decides to stay and finds herself growing a relationship with Drake. But what’s up with Drake? Why’s he acting so out of character? If Rae thought happy endings came that easily… She was very wrong.
