Lily is perfect: sweet, kind, smart, beautiful, and best of all, safe. She has a certain charisma that pulls people in and makes them feel at ease. It's a good act and everyone else buys into it. But Jael knows that Lily isn't the innocent little flower she pretends to be. Then one night, after her friend ditches her at a club, Jael is almost killed in an alley and saved by a man who calls himself Cain. He's a major asshole and is seemingly unfeeling but he swears to help her unlock powers she never knew she had and protect her at all costs. Only problem? One day he's going to kill her. The world isn't what Jael thought it was and neither is she. Suddenly, everything wants her dead: Lily, the strange men with no faces, like the one who tried to kill her. Even Cain.

Basically an explanation of what stereotypes are that will turn into a fiction and lesson learning short story.

This story is about a young girl who comes across an old Brumby in the Australian bush and finds out that there's more to this old horse than meets the eye with him saving her life and then coming to her in her dreams and taking her on an adventure through the night where she finds out that his and his herds life is in danger. Together with her sister's help they help him to escape this vengeful enemy. Based in the late 1970s in a country town near Lake Macquarie in NSW this story is based on a true life adventure so come and find out where, how and why this young girl helps this wild horse to be free.
