It all started with a wedding, with a reminder that despite all the bad that has happened in their lives it's possible for good to happen for the Shelby family. With Stan off at University, following his dreams and keeping away from the family business; with Hal thinking about the future; and with Luce not feeling the urge to run at every opportunity, it looks as though things might just be looking up for the Shelby family. But how long can good things really last?

After the War, no one was quite the same. Even those that had stayed at home felt the strain of the fighting, the strain of warfare on civilians. People deal with change, and horrors, in different ways. For Luce, she left it all behind; for Stan, he tried to help his brothers in different ways without getting sucked into their world; and for Hal, he found himself looking for some kind of action. But what will Birmingham hold for the three of them, and how will they fit into the plans of Tommy Shelby, if at all?
