Off the Count: A Survival Thriller Short Story About a Captive Pine Marten Escaping a Zoo of Predators After a female pine marten dies and the keepers stop following their usual routine, a captive breeder male realizes he will be discarded next and tears his way out of his rusted enclosure. He escapes through the zoo's hidden infrastructure, surviving a gauntlet of threats including panicked bats, a crocodile enclosure, an owl attack, and a tigress guarding the only exit, before crawling through a drainage pipe into the wild beyond the zoo fences. By morning, the head keeper quietly writes him off as "lost in transit," erasing him as easily as the dead female had been erased before him.

This is a character study on the predatory species: Deathgrippers. They are mentioned in the third movie of HTTYD THW and are primarily characterized as subjugated dragons under Grimmel the Grisly's control. By the end of each chapter I hope to introduce a perspective where the strongest and the most brutal species does not equate to them being evil. To take their lack of depth for face value is a missed opportunity to add meaning, interpretation, and character. Furthermore, I would like to acknowledge the greater scale of the HTTYD fandom. I may not know all of you, but I wouldn't be the storyteller I am without the countless ideas and perspectives we exchange through media. Most of my takes are supported by analyzing scenes, information from the HTTYD wiki, and research by relating them to real world animals.

this is a Crossover between Kpop Demon Hunters and Predator Killer Of Killers Kenji and Torres end up crash landing on modern day South Korea after a chaotic space chase from the Yautja fleets. After they abandon the ship, they travel to Seoul, absolutely shocked by all the changes that have happened while they were stuck in space. Eventually they meet HUNTR/X and as HUNTR/X performs for the fans and hunt demons like usual, they come across some strange looking "demons" that bleed green and steal people's skulls instead of souls. They find out that these are not demons, but are Yautja (ones that followed Kenji and Torres and are after them).
