The Serpent has attacked the peaceful town of Lyonson once again. This time the monster has taken the father of young Jameson. Craving revenge for his father's death and safety for his mother and younger brother, Jameson resolves to kill the beast. If only it was that easy. The Serpent is a magical creature, so a magical weapon is needed to destroy it. Jameson and his companions must travel to The Mists, where the weapon is rumored to be protected. The travelers expect The Mists to simply be the name of the waterfall; instead, they discover something entirely different. But first, they have to make it to The Mists alive.

When evidence suddenly appears Libby's life is thrown into chaos as she learns that she must trust her gut. Libby will soon learn who her real friends are, but will they all be lost in the Falls?
