Tom and Persephone.. or Kitty as he calls her, because she purrs when he scratches her back, has known each other for 11 years but never been anything but friends. She is still Tom's "The one who got away" but as she is in a serious relationship with her boyfriend through 8 years and have a 3 year old girl, he tells himself that the ship has sailed long time ago. Persephone/Penny/Kitty do love her fiance Tyler, but she isn't really in love with him any longer and their sex life is kind of ruined by his weird ideas of cleanliness and a rather robotic behavior.. she misses passion. What happens when Tom has to be in Canada for a couple of months making a new movie and she asks him to stay with them.. everyone tells Tom he is an idiot to accept and he will only end up hurt. (BOOK ONE) Ever feel like someone is watching you. You would lay in bed, in the dark and you can feel their eyes on you. The only different between you and me is that if you wake up from your nightmare it's over, but if I wake up from a nightmare it just continues.

As the time nears to reach the one who holds the power of corruption our story starts at what should of been an end. Hazel a four month old kitten was abandoned by her family in the mid of winter. Now she must journey to a place known as the Cliff of thy Dawn. Only thing is nothing is simple as it seems and a darkness lurks in the shadows.
