After the fall of Gaea, the world is finally quiet... or at least as quiet as it can be for two demigods who've faced prophecy, monsters, and gods themselves. Nico di Angelo thought surviving the war meant finding peace, but moving on isn't that simple, especially when Will Solace is there, lighthearted and stubborn, trying to pull him out of the shadows. But peace doesn't come easily. Old fears linger, secrets refuse to stay buried, and the weight of everything they've lost threatens to crush them. As Nico and Will navigate the fragile balance between past and future, they learn that even after the apocalypse, some battles, especially the ones in the heart, are just beginning.

Nico di Angelo has always been a bit of a loner when it comes to the demigod camps, so he didn't expect much of a difference when he decided to stay at Camp Half-Blood. Which is fine! It just made it that much easier to keep hidden the secret residing under his sleeves. Will Solace is a down-to-Earth healer with a lot more darkness than he lets on. He's determined to help anyone he can who needs it. This includes the dense (yet admittedly cute) son of Hades, who might even be more stubborn than Will. After a nail-biting battle against the Earth Mother herself, these boys find themselves in the infirmary together for a promised three days. While they're certainly different at first glance, soon enough, they find themselves more similar than believable. As their relationship blossoms into something more, Nico gets a premonition of something coming, worthy of breaking the two apart. Will they be able to fight their apparent fate? TW: some mature language and themes such as s*lf h*rm All rights to Uncle Rick. These are his characters (with the exception of mine) and my plot.

Nico regretted one thing about his absence from Camp Half-Blood; not talking to Will Solace before he departed, leaving Will to think that he'd abandoned the Mortal World for the Underworld. Owing Will an explanation, he heads to Camp Half-Blood for New Year with Percy and Leo, hoping to at least talk to the Son of Apollo. And who knows, maybe it really will be a new year, new him. (A one-shot based in the little AU universe that my story The Missing Hero is set in, explaining how Will and Nico got together in that 'verse.)

*BLOOD OF OLYMPUS SPOILERS* Nico DiAngelo and Will Solace fanfic. Takes place immediately after Nico confesses to Percy. Beware the amateur writing and the overuse of puns. Enjoy hehe. Update: For those of you who have already read The Hidden Oracle, think of this as a prequel to that.

-COMPLETED- Nico di Angelo is stuck in the Infirmary for three days with a stubborn son of Apollo named Will Solace. Who knows what's going to happen? On the other hand, Will has had a secret crush on Nico for a long time. Will he finally get the courage to tell him? It starts with the three days in the infirmary, and has a lot of content that relates to Trials of Apollo. The events at the end go exactly into what happens in The Hidden Oracle. Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.).
