Jufri meneruskan pekerjaaan ayahnya menjadi marbot di Masjid An Najm. Jufri tinggal dalam masjid bersama kedua temannya yang sudah yatim piatu. Selain menjadi marbot, Jufri sudah bertekad hati ingin mendalami agama dan ingin menjadi pendakwah. Siang malam, tanpa bosan ia jalani kehidupan islaminya dan pengabdiannya di Masjid An Najm. Karpet salat baru sumbangan seorang pengusaha dari luar kota tanpa sengaja mengubah jalan hidupnya. Jufri menemukan stereogram kakbah yang sengaja disembunyikan perusahaan yang memproduksi karpet salat itu. Sesudah menghubungi nomor ponsel yang ada dalam stereogram tersebut, ternyata, ibadah umroh gratis siap mengantarkan Jufri ke Tanah Suci. Melalui stereogram kakbah itu juga, ia menjumpai Mbak Rara, bekas tetangganya di desa dulu. Ia juga jadi mengenal penulis buku Mosaic of Haramain, Etyastari Soeharto, yang bersama Afisah, salah satu peserta haji yang pernah dibimbing Ustad Maliq. Mereka hendak mengadakan bedah buku di Masjid An Najm yang telah direnovasi.
