"A promise made at six years old. Four local crowns. Two world titles. But the hardest fight is the one for his future."
While the Valley tears itself apart over dojo rivalries, Callum "Cal" Taylor-the quiet, rhythmic twin brother of Moon-quietly builds an unprecedented martial arts dynasty. But as he sweeps consecutive All-Valley titles and takes on the world stage at the Sekai Taikai, Cal finds that holding onto the crown is nothing compared to keeping a childhood promise to his best friend and first love, Samantha LaRusso.
Extended Synopsis
Everyone in the Valley knows the name Callum Taylor (played by Charlie Gillespie). Before Cobra Kai ever reopened its doors, Cal was Daniel LaRusso's lone crane-training in the quiet sanctuary of the Miyagi-Do backyard, learning martial arts not as a weapon, but as a fluid, meditative rhythm. By the time the dojo war erupts in Season 1, Cal is already the reigning All-Valley Champion. But a target on your back means everyone is coming for the throne.
As the seasons progress, Cal is thrust into the epicenter of a generational martial arts war. Alongside Sam, Robby, Miguel, and Eli, he becomes the Team Captain of the Vanguard Seven, leading them from local tournament mats to the brutal, high-stakes international arena of the Sekai Taikai in Barcelona and beyond. Where other fighters rely on anger or fear, Cal treats the mat like a dance floor, moving a beat ahead of his opponents and relying on a psychic-like "twin sync" with his sister Moon to keep his head in the game.
But behind the historic, six-time undefeated championship run lies a deeper motivation. At six years old, wearing a gi three sizes too big, Cal proposed to Sam LaRusso with a plastic zip-tie ring. Her laughing response? "Ask me when we're twenty and I'll say yes."
