A tragic poem/love story. It was originally intended to just be a person thinking about a past relationship while staring into a glass of wine but it turned into this instead...Sometimes, just can't help how something comes out! :P

The Crescent moon pack had never been known to anyone before Ariah Balek went rogue. Ariah decided to exact revenge on those who shunned her after being kicked out of her pack by her former Alpha. After being a pack slave and being indirectly rejected by her own mate all in the same setting, her heart grew colder and died with each day that passed. Nobody knew who the Alpha of the crescent pack was, but they hoped to find out during the blue moon. Why? because the Blue Moon Mating Ball would be held at that pack. Ariah had developed thick skin in the seven years of being Alpha. She had forgotten about her pathetic mate and didn't need him to be her hero anymore. More especially when all he did was cross his arms and watch her get treated like dirt in her former pack...but what happens when he reappears with a new mate by his side at the Blue Moon Ball as an Alpha? Find out what happens when Ariah also finds she holds a pivotal role in an ancient prophecy capable of reshaping the very fabric of the supernatural world.

my third poetry series. experiments more with visual aspect of poetry. themes seem to be a sort of updated projection of cold war anxiety in the context of relationships and our collective struggle of hope and hopelessness. given the current political climate, not much of a stretch. may contain explicit language. 2017

I am condemned. To a life where dreams are the only things that exist. I can't have love. I can't have a life. I won't ever be able to love because you can't fall in love in under thirty minutes. Can you?

On a whim, I've just been dying to write more poetry lately, dying to get out of this writer's block...FUNK. I hope these aren't too dreadful. The meaning of the poems might be a little fuzzy or unclear, but they're meant for you to make your own meaning out of them if you can't distinguish one of my meanings. Often, my poems have double meanings, but I'm no genius, so sometimes they're also straight to the point. Please enjoy.
