Sometimes death brings you closer to love; if nothing saves us from death, let love save us from life.
Jiwoo has just come out of a relationship so intense that it ended with the death of her partner. It has been 2 years since that day. Jiwoo is the heir to the Sirian hospital, of the Siwan family. There are loves from the past that are not forgotten even though they are no longer in this world.
Seoyoon returned to Korea after two years, driven by a sense of duty. Her fun-loving personality attracts many men looking for wives, but Seoyoon isn't interested in that. She came to help her parents with the hospital, given its strong rivalry with the Syrian Hospital. However, she knows what returning to Korea entails after that day, the day she chose to lose the love of her life.
The loss of Seoyoon was the worst thing that ever happened to Jiwoo. Since that day, her only distraction has been work. Her friends have suggested going out to parties or on trips, but she has refused. Now, one of the most important moments in her life has arrived: she is taking over her parents' positions at the hospital. Meanwhile, Seoyoon is returning to Korea to help her parents, who are going through difficulties at Waranin Hospital. But the past is what keeps her resentful towards them. Seoyoon had to pretend to disappear so that they wouldn't ruin the person she is willing to fight for again.
In this story, we'll talk about the love that existed underground, feigning a loss to avoid hurting others, a love that's still there but unknowingly present. Their duties as daughters will be the difficulty and the beginning of problems, resentments, and orders. Will Seoyoon be able to see Jiwoo again? Will she be able to tell her the truth? Will Jiwoo believe her? Is love still present despite everything that's happened?
If nothing saves us from death, then let love save us from life....
