When I originally got the idea to tell Cindy's story, I had no idea that Cedric would come to be a major part, or that certain characters would survive. I've had a change of mind over the years and this is the version that I think readers would enjoy a lot more (people still die, just not as much as I originally envisioned). That being said, I will also write the story that I originally wanted to tell. It's much darker, especially in book 7, but it is how it is. I will finish this version up to book 7 before I do my original idea (which will start at book 4 because everything before is the same).
