In a world where women are empowered and encouraged to perform their will, the men are put in the background of things, invisible like the air they breathe. Leslie Morgan is one of those men, and I recount his tales of always being second, and that men are not always what they're portrayed as. This is a story told entirely in the form of free verse, because why the hell should there be diversity only in characters and not in forms of writing? A/N: Steal my works without my permission, I will steal your life without your permission. Apart from that, I'm a nice person.

Yes, gender equality is so well know nowadays and I love that women are getting so many more rights and nothing is unusual anymore, we are all getting to be equal. Or are we? I find that, although women are getting recognition, men still need the equality in some areas. One I didn't mention in this was that men are majorly seen for being criminals. They're more likely to be seen as the suspect compared to a woman. For example, quite often a young girl may seduce an older man saying she's an adult, he then gets with her, but in the face of the law it's his issue and he's the one who should be charged. Yes, I know this doesn't happen all the time but I thought I'd mention it. Men need a little more attention.

Hey, there! :) I'll begin with a question, actually two. The first one is: How many of you have seen blogs and quotes and posters on feminism and read about campaigns and thought, "Oh! This is totally my thing!" and how many of you have cringed at the word thinking that it makes you inadequate or is utterly useless; and how many have of you have been completely ignorant and/or oblivious? (You'll have to wait for the second question. ;)) Read on to find out! ;) Don't forget to follow, vote, comment and share!! :)

Women, a vast majority of population that our society still takes for granted or simply does not fully appreciate. The taboos, the "don't speak about it"s, all those unspoken words will come out on here. Why are we told to shut up? why should I be sitting down properly instead of raising my voice for equality? I have been forced to think of these things in 2016, and maybe you should be too.

I'm starting this in November - so it starts with the French flag filter on Facebook. If any of you know any other trend, please let me know in the comments/messages. Also, if possible, let me know where you're at - that way, I can keep track of where this trend is going on. If you feel insecure doing sharing your location, you could be vague, send me a PM or not mention it. I want to keep a record of the "fashion" going on - because somethings get the spot-light and some just don't. Sadly, even the fraction of incidents that do get the spotlight are forgotten when something new starts. How many of you remember Amanda Todd? So, please, help keep this list around. That way, we can remember and go back to a "trend" and make sure that the "movement" was around for a reason. Movements may be: 1. On social networking sites 2. A change in profile picture (filters, charts, the text for an image), statuses, comments and so on that you see a sudden, rampant change in. 3. Not limited to any country 4. Not limited to any language (though, Mandarin, Korean etc might give me issues with translation - so, please help me there. If you can't that's fine - but I'd appreciate being informed about it.) I would also like to hear what you think of what's going on - you could send a PM if you'd like. And if you don't want to share your views of Wattpad, my email is: hayleyadstrum@gmail.com.

Human Rights. Equality. He for She. Women Empowerment. Feminism I'm sure all of you would have heard of these terms and words frequently, if not everyday. There are so many people who voice their thoughts on these issues; so many organizations to fight for equal rights; so many activists; so many feminists, so many ideas... Every side you turn you will either find famous people working towards achieving these goals or your next door normal neighbour working towards the same. With so many people trying reach out, surely a change must be taking place, right? Surely it should have impacted on the society? Unfortunately No! It's not having the effect we expect it to have. In fact, we are deluding ourselves into thinking that people are changing for the better but a large part of the world is still the same, if not worse. It breaks my heart when I realise that people find it completely reasonable to treat their counterparts without respect. This excerpt is a reflection of my cries, a reflection on the outrageously horrific situation which still persists!
