They've only been training with dark magic for a few years, Viren as their teacher. Yet, he trusts them enough to not fail him. And if they do fail him, he casted a spell that paralyzes their legs a few days at a time. The more time Y/n wastes, the more they're unable to walk. If the spell is complete, Y/n wont be able to walk again. Once they met up with the group they grew close with one of the members, Rayla. But their relationship breaks once Y/n's true colors are revealed. As you can tell this is fanfiction, yes different than what I usually do but I wanted to write this story. It is a continuation of the Netflix show 'The Dragon Prince(Mystery of Aaravos)'. (A few people are making fanfiction of The Dragon King so be sure to check those out.) You do not need any knowledge to enjoy this story but keep an open mind for the fantastical world building. [DISCONTINUED] this AU fanfic uses the same characters and same places however the war isn't a thing and the dragon king is still alive as well as harrow and Sarai, and Viren isn't evil (well for the first like 11 chaptes or so). though raylas parents are dead. but humans and elves still despise each other. oh and rayla has a brother that is dead and she is a soldier at the border, not an assassin

But going there will need a ship and a captain. Callum then meet an elf in a tavern willing to help them find the captain that the prince needed for their journey.
