Ryan and Ashley, as well as his family, does everything they can do to protect Cleo and other dolphins from Japanese whalers who are due to past by the bay in any day now. But it isn't easy to protect them when a girl from their school has a father who is a whaler. Pepper boarded the boat for a date with her boyfriend, Harry. Beca boarded the boat because her and her friends wanted to do something fun before starting college.
