Stella doesn't mind being stared at. People usually are, once she starts talking to empty spaces or pausing mid-sentence to listen to something no one else can hear. She has always noticed things others miss, quiet footsteps with no bodies, voices that linger after goodbyes, the way certain places feel heavier than they should. Ghosts find her easily. She's learned to be kind about it. When one particularly polite spirit leads her to a hospital in Forks, Stella assumes it's just another small favor for the dead. Instead, she meets Dr. Carlisle Cullen, a man who feels wrong in a way she can't quite explain. Dead yet alive, too calm, too still, yet strangely familiar to the spirits that follow her. As Stella drifts between conversations with the living and the dead, she begins to wonder why ghosts linger around him, why the moon seems brighter around him, and why being different suddenly feels like it might matter. A whimsical, quietly strange Twilight fanfiction about unseen worlds, gentle magic, and finding someone who understands the parts of you no one else notices.

Ah yes, nothing like a nice day in with a cup of cocoa, watching a movie that reminds you of the childhood days and dreams from so long ago.... Of course being so cozy can make a person sleepy.... And of course.... You couldn't even guess what would happen after that... Falling into water, almost drowning, and being saved by a horse who gently pulled you up and onto the wooden ledge. You gasp as you breathe and look at your surroundings. You look up at the horse and... WHY IS THAT HORSE SO BIG?!!! You hear a big gasp and turn to look. A teenager with blond hair and a dress akin to Thumbelina rushes over to you. " You're, YOU'RE OKAY!! AND YOU'RE SMALL LIKE ME!" ( While Thumbelina is in the public domain, the story is based off Don Bluth's Thumbelina but that belongs to him and the only character that belongs to me is the reader and the story idea) First chapter is in 2nd POV while the rest is in Third POV. Fem Reader, and the reader will be in her 20s ( Specific age won't be specified but she is in her 20s and older than Thumbelina)
