"You can't kill what's already dead, mister Cordray!" Lola tried to tell her boss, following him closely as he walked throughout his office, grabbing multiple weapons, experimental potions and armor.
"Good thing those monsters were never alive in the first place, then," Casimir grumbled, closing the mechanism around his right arm. He looked over his shoulder at his intern, the blood on her cheek still wet because of her tears, "This company exists for the protection of the people, you knew that. You joined Aegis for the wrong reasons."
"Aren't angels people too, then?!"
"They almost killed you."
"Like you wouldn't do the same when an angel gets too close to your daughter."

Angels weren't a blessing when they came down to earth. They acted as if they were the best things to ever happen to humanity, used the people's gullibility to get close, push their way into society.
It didn't take long before their true faces started to show. Their dead eyes, the sharp teeth and fangs. They eat the people's souls to keep their immortality and powers.
But Aegis Corporation soon rose to power.
"Shield. Strike. Survive."
They hunt the angels, protect humanity. But those monsters will never truly die.
