From a planet in 47 Ursae Majoris, where the rules of physics do not seem to apply, to the tale of an 'out-of-practice' samurai swordsman. From, what a cat is planning under the floorboards, to a vampire couple that forgets all about daylight saving. This collection has it all: science fiction, speculation, horror, dark humour and disorientating slipstream. Most importantly, each of these very short stories is exactly 140 characters long (including spaces, punctuation and everything). Not, less than 140, EXACTLY 140. This length reflects the original limit of a post on Twitter. Of course, Twitter has more recently extended the limit to 280 characters. However, increasing the limit for this collection above 140 characters would make it too easy. We don't want easy, do we?

"Your hands will heal whatever they touch." At only ten years, Leila lost her parents to a plane crash, her life was shattered. Two years later, as she played in the backyard of her foster parents, a bright light shone above her head, she shielded her eyes from it. In two seconds, she fell to the ground and passed out. A little something different. A micro-story about a leftover slice of pizza that day-by-day is waiting to be eaten. Just a bit of fun because when everything in the world seems to be going wrong it's nice to take a step back and laugh a little. Even if it is at how badly a slice of pizza wants to be eaten. As well as a few other short stories about anything and everything.

This story collection is all from one prompt by @MicroBytes - 20 days 20 resolutions. It was posted as a notification on @Fantasy 's page. There will be 2 prompts per story part. I don't think I'll use all 20 prompts either. Let's just see how it goes. trials and love- obstacles and obsessions; submission.

WattNaNo Drama Pick Winner 2018. This book has slices of my life, a memoir, covering my difficult childhood coping with my mother's severe mental heath issues and my journey today. This is a collection of short stories that can be independently read. A positive and honest recount. Postcards from the past, some bad some good. My mother's schizophrenia terrified me when she died it made an impact on my life. Writing this book is my chance to let it go of the pain and move on. I felt confusion, anger and fear as a child but now I am a mother myself I realise my mother was unable to help the way she was and that's so sad, that we never connected. I have written this from an observation point of where I have looked back a the past with an adult view and perspective over time. I've done my best to be honest. So take me as I am or leave me be. Thanks so.much for my supportive cousins, close friends and my Wattpad tribe. You are the best and I feel very lucky. I am pleased to say my life is good as you make it so.
