Greta watched on as the storm tore at the world around them. This one would keep everyone is for at least three days, then there would be the cleanup process. Trees were broken in half, laying in the streets below, a car alarm was flashing on the curb, mixing with the howl of the wind, which was loud at their level.

Her and Angelo were staying with Dev Patel.

Well, in the same building. Somehow they were lucky enough to find an empty apartment on his floor, and Harry and Ivy had made sure they had everything they needed.

When they left their mother's mansion, most of their belongings stayed. There was very little time to pack up, and since Greta was fairly incapacitated at the time, they had barely anything. They had been just rewashing the same few items of clothing. The important stuff had been her laptop and setup.

That was now next to all of Dev's things in is apartment. He insisted, saying his wifi was the best. When he told her what he used and what his setup was, she agreed. Begrudgingly.

Dev was.... interesting. Ridiculously intelligent, able to keep up with Greta on most things. But he was always so chatty, asking her questions about everything. How she grew up, what her favorite food was, what other hobbies she had. Which were none. She liked her computers and that was that.

For the past year, she had tried to find an interest in the family business. In Queenstown in general. She thought it was hers to inherit, so she tried. But since she met Harry, everything changed.

The relief she felt not being a true heir anymore was immense. It was like a cement block was lifted off her chest. Not even learning that she was now actually related to the Styles family dampened her happiness. She was content with being somewhat connected to it all, helping out behind the safety of her computer.

But now it looked like that meant sitting next to Dev.

Which wasn't bad all the time. To be fair, it wasn't bad any of the time. Just weird. Different. She just didn't know why he was so interested in her. Why he seemed to care so much. Every day he checked in on her injuries, bringing her an icepack or pain reliever when needed.

Greta had never been looked after like this. Besides Angelo, there had been no one to care what had happened to her.

She would be suspicious of him if Harry didn't trust him so much.

"You done?"

Greta heard Dev's voice ask Angelo. Turning around, she saw Angelo nod, "Yeah, I'm gonna head back over. I've got a raid scheduled in thirty."

"Sick." Dev approved, picking up his plate and putting it in the sink.

Angelo gave her a chin nod before heading back to their apartment down the hall. Dev had set up a gaming area for Angelo in his room, which was where her little brother spent most of his time.

"Have you heard from Harry and Ivy yet?" She asked him.

Dev leaned against the wall, crossing his arms over his chest, "Yes."

She straightened up, "You have? How did it go?"

The meeting with one of the spider leaders was last night. Greta didn't know any of the details of it, only that they were meeting, and she had been anxious thinking about it. So much so that she couldn't sleep.

"They'll tell you themselves. They're on their way over."

Her eyes went wide, "What do you mean they're on their way over? Did they not notice the giant storm outside?"

He smirked, "You're cute when you're worried."

Gretas face scrunched up in confusion. She was not cute right now. Her hair was a mess from tossing and turning all night, she had no makeup on, which wasn't new these days. But she had also broken out on her chin, the two very angry zits red and irritated from her picking at them.
