Chapter 43

   "You promise you're just dropping me off..." Anna looked up at her worried.

"Anna, I already promised I wouldn't go through the portal again. I'm just here to make sure you're safe." Eclipse smiles as she kisses her lightly. "I'll make sure you get through and then I'll meet you at the gate on earth."

Anna sighs. "Fine... I guess that will be ok."

Eclipse walks her to the security point and kisses her cheek. She watches as Anna passes the security, looking back once more before getting in line for the gate. Once Eclipse was sure that she'd be safe, she slipped into the shadow realm. Holding her breath, she dives into the shadow between Urandia and Earth. It felt like she was free falling through thick vapor. She lands in a puff of smoke, taking a deep breath before making her way to the Teleport Gate's location. She steps back out of the shadows into the waiting area. She waits for a few minutes before seeing Anna walk through security.

"See I told you I'd be waiting." Eclipse smiles as Anna's worried expression turns to relief.

"Sorry... I just worry sometimes." Anna kisses her.

Eclipse takes her hand and leads her to the car, using her keys to unlock it and opening the door for her. Anna rolls her eyes playfully.

"Chivalrous of you."

"Can't have my lady doing everything for herself now can I?" Eclipse smirks as she closes the door and gets on the driver's side.

The drive wasn't far and soon enough they passed through academy security, pulling into the specialist garage. Warfalcon greets them on the lawn.

"Welcome back you two!" Did you enjoy yourselves?"

"Oh yeah, socializing with nobles.... super fun." Eclipse gives him a sarcastic response as Anna elbows her in the stomach.

"Ignore her. We had a blast." Anna laughs as Eclipse gives her a playful glare.

"That hurts you know..."

"If me elbowing you hurts then you need to work out more darling."

Eclipse gasps. "How dare you insinuate I'm getting weak?!"

Anna sticks her tongue out at her but quickly regrets it as Eclipse grabs her and throws her over her shoulder.

"We'll see you later. I need to go have a... talk with my girlfriend" Eclipse smirks as she carries Anna towards the dorms.

"Put me down!" Anna smacks her back as Warfalcon laughs.

Once in their room, Eclipse throws her on the bed and climbs on top. "So, I'm weak huh?"

Anna stammers as she blushes. "I... i..."

"What's wrong princess?" Eclipse tilts her head up as she gulps, not giving her any more time to reply as she presses their lips together.

Her tongue slips into her mouth as it explores the soft skin, dipping into her throat. Anna moans softly as she grips her shoulder. Eclipse pulls away smiling at the effect she has on her girlfriend.

"I love you." She whispers softer, cupping her jaw in the palm of her hand.

Anna nuzzles against her hand with a content smile. "I love you too."

Eclipse pecks at her lips a couple times before going towards her neck. The SOS alert on her watch interrupts her as she groans.

"You've got to be kidding me." She growls at the watch as she gets up.

Anna giggles, "Come on. You can continue when we get back." She nips Eclipse's ear, earning a moan in response as she follows her out the door.
