3 days ago, I dropped Deja Vu and the people have been loving it. They also have been loving Megan. She's been gaining popularity from her freestyles, and in Houston she already has a pretty strong fan base. When she hopped on the song, I knew people were gonna start digging to find out more about her, so recently both of our social medias have been blowing up with questions.
I really love that she is starting to get recognized more and more, but it does come with some downsides. Before she got on the song, I only had to worry about the people in Houston trying to get at my girlfriend, but in the past 3 days she has been getting blown up with DMs from people all over, so much to the point that she had to post that she wasn't single on her story to try and get it to mellow out, but honestly that might have made it worse because they just continued to try and talk to her.
Today I'm performing at the BET awards and I'm gonna bring her out to perform with me, which I'm really excited about. We decided that at the end of our performance we are gonna announce our relationship. We planned on doing it a while ago, because with both of us gaining popularity we can't really go anywhere without someone noticing us.
For the most part when we are seen out together people just think we are close friends, but sometimes we get caught doing more couple like things. Like a week ago someone caught us dancing on each other in the club. Most people didn't think much of it, because girls do this with their friends all the time but still, we kinda wanna be able to act like a couple in public without worrying about who sees us. Also, with all this extra attention, we both agreed that if we finally announce our relationship maybe people will leave her alone, cause her DMs are definitely worse than mine.
It's currently 3:30 and I'm getting ready to head to the red carpet. I head to our room in our LA apartment and see Megan laying in our bed on her phone.
"Hey baby I'm finna leave, I'll see you when you get there ok" I walk up to her and kiss her lips.
"Damn mama you look good as fuck in that dress, can't wait to take it off of you tonight" she says sitting up and pulling me by my waist so that I'm in between her legs.
"Baby stop, I can't be late" I laugh taking her hands off my waist.
"Ok, ok, I'll stop. I'll see you in a little" she kisses my lips again.
"I can't believe you don't wanna go on the carpet with me" I playfully roll my eyes.
"Maybe next time, I have to get this assignment done for one of my summer classes, but I promise I'll be on time" I just sigh, I hate that she can't come with me.
"Ok fine, I love you" I say kissing her lips.
"And I love you" I kiss her one last time, then headed out and headed to the award show.

I just finished my assignment and I need to be at the show by 6 because we perform at 7. Bey looked really good before she left, she had on a black dress paired with black and silver heels, she looked so fine.
