WRITE ABOUT...

FOOL: THE FIRST TIME TRYING SOMETHING
Midnight runs. With two friends. On one dark sparsely lit street. The joke of kwashe boys was ironically unfunny the further out we got from the hostel and closer to the destination we never reached. This was my first time. All parameters checked clear as my new experience. Night jog. Trio. Friends. Risk. Fear. Foolish is the one word to describe the experience. Nevertheless, we're going again tonight.

YOUTH: NOSTALGIA AND WORRY FREE INNOCENCE
After-school television runs. The one memory of worry-free innocence I still hold onto very close are the shows I grew up on as a kid. Weekly schedules are perfectly synchronised with daily living. Missing a minute felt the same as missing a beat. How could you? When all the drama of your encompassing youth could be lost in a single breath with the words THE END or TO BE CONTINUED. Nostalgic

HEART: LIFE IN THE POV OF AN ANIMAL
The largest heart on the planet belongs to the blue whale. A mammal just like me, only it spends all of its life in water like a fish. The blue whale spends every waking breath, diving and surfacing as it breathes in oxygen. Without gills, it has lungs, and its heart so large pumps the oxygen rich blood to its brain. The blue whale sleeps with the fish. It swims with them but remembers it not one of them. Back to the surface.

SUN: THAT ORB IN THE SKY KEEPING US ALIVE
Our Sun has a history engraved in the very fabric of humanity. The Sun has its history long before its etchings in the rock and soil of this earth. The Sun was the first in our system, yet the youngest in the infinite expanse of the galaxy. Yet our Sun is our most important star. Thus, we seek to know more about "that orb in the sky keeping us alive."

YUM: A MEAL YOU COULD NEVER GET ENOUGH OF
Yum yum yum yum... the rule of threes does not apply or any other rule as a matter of fact. Echoed in our minds the sound reverberates and accompanies that one meal mama cooks just right out of all the rest. A cornerstone to our great monolith and all we can sing in praise is Yum yum yum yum yum...

PERFECTION: WHAT THE CONCEPT MEANS TO YOU
Perfection is a disease that does more harm than good. Perfection is the one abnormality that everyone craves. The very thought of it drives will to their core and hypocrites to the ego. Hath all man forgotten or not heard the old saying spoken not by the gods but by the wisdom amongst us. "There is no prize to perfection only an end to pursuit." There is joy in imperfection, but none in the unattainable.

TOGETHER: WHEN PEOPLE YOU LOVE ARE AROUND
There is more than enough love to go around. The experience when all of it is in one place. The moment when all loved ones are grouped together. There is no hiding, no cheating, no lying, no crying, and there is no hate. Right there at that moment and where it is easiest of all to be ones true self. Not to worry or fret of a thing or anyone. Laugh the hardest and out the loudest and talk and speak how one truly feels.

BALANCE: THAT FEELING OF EQUILIBRIUM
Everyone wishes for an imbalance whether they know it or not. Consciously or unconsciously, people for more of the good the world can offer and fear when the opposite presides. However, one thing they would outright deny is that one can not exist without the other, hence the balance of the universe. There is no instability in all things without the feeling of equilibrium, and hence, the third law of motion resides.

LOVER: A DREAM ROMANCE
The dreamers romance is to his own detriment only a fantasy. Either sooner or later or even forever or never, he does settle on the realisation that no matter how fake love may be, it still is reality. Realism is an experience fantasy can not give. Some would rather remain lovers at this expense, the hopeless romantics. For those who fall first or easiest or hardest, the lovers' dream is their paradise
