13.) Playing the Game

" Acha..mujhe to laga tha ye suman aur kisi aur admi ki beti hai. " Dadi said.

And I chuckled watching arman face.

He looked like he want to say something but don't know what..?

Haha.

It's getting intresting and to make it more interesting I asked.

" Why did you think like this dadi...? "

When I asked this Armaan glaring at me and I'm sure he must want to beat the shit out of him.

But you know the moral...when get the chance to irritate someone never let it slide.

" Iski beti ro rahi thi aur ye ek bar bhi uth kar nhi aya ise chup karane, isliye lga. " Dadi again said acting oblivious yet giving side eye to Armaan.

Armaan looked at her then straightened himself.

I can see he is looking a bit hesitant.

He cleared his throat and take Mahira from dadi, then said.

" It's nothing that, she's more comfortable with suman more that's it. " He said.

While Mahira peeking a liitle to see me.

She is really a bubbly girl, I wonder how can a man like arman can be a father of such a bubble gum.

It's around 8:20 in the morning and We all are sitting at dining table now after the Pooja, which mahnvi and suman performed.

Mahnvi and Suman make a sweet dish, poha and chai as dadi already make paratha for us.

normally we eat light breakfast, but today as its tradition to make sweets by a new bride, so that's why i am compromising with my calories.

dadi pull the lid of bowls, one is filled with kheer while other one is filled gajar ka halwa.

Well I can see the gajar halva made with perfections and smells heaven, while kheer looked a little... questionable?

I can literally see the rice are still uncooked and the milk consistency a little too thin.

I looked at the dishes then at mahnvi. Who is looking everywhere except me.

" Hmm...ok dishes looks good. " Dadi said.

" Seriously dadi, from where do you think this kheer look good. " Arnav said sarcastically while stirring the kheer.

Dadi glared at him and slapped on his hand.

" Shut up...ok let's play a game, since the dishes made by my two daughter in laws, then their husband will guess which dish made by their wife... understood. " Dadi said a little excitedly.

Here's my dadi, again living her dream life by us.

I sighed.

" But dadi it's unfair, arman already know his wife's food taste, while I don't know. He can guess easily. " I said stating the fact.

" To tujhe bhi iski tarh pehle shadi kar leni chahiye thi, kisne kaha tha 32 ki umar me shadi karne ko. " Dadi said, and everyone at table laughed at dadi remark.
