I follow her into the kitchen and she gestures to some seats that remind me of bar chairs.
"So, in the kitchen we have all the cabinets of everything you could ever ask for. We have seasonings, chocolate, flour, sugar, etc. In some of the below decks, we have ramen noodles, though, I'm the only one who eats them."
"Ramen noodles? I love ramen noodles. One of the foods that I can make."
"The chefs make everything homemade so there's no bisquick if you want to make pancakes or waffles."
"What do you prefer? Pancakes or waffles?"She shrugs.
"Both, honestly. But I do pancakes mostly on occasion because I use their waffle maker to make myself some waffles."She explains as she leads me to a chair to sit down.
"I'm sorry if this is offensive but are you a werewolf, witch, or human? Normally I can tell but right now, I can't."
"I'm a witch. I don't use my magic that much, only when necessary so when I cook, I just use magic to grab the materials out the cabinets and the fridge before cooking and baking without my magic."
I start to get up from my seat and I head to the kitchen area to make some food. It's 1:30pm and I am hungry. Nara looks at me confused when I go beside her."What are you planning to make?"She asks me as I hear people talking.
"Why is she with the queen?"
"Why is the queen grabbing materials from the kitchen?"
"Where are the chefs?"
"My queen,I'm worried for you."One woman says and I look at her annoyed
"Why? Is it because I'm hanging out with Nara?"
"That and we think that you are sick."Nara and I look at her confused.
"Why do you think that?"One woman giggles.
"Well, it's obvious. We can't smell the mixed scent of you and the king nor sense the pup inside. It's only because you are sick."She says in a duh tone.
"No. It's because we aren't close yet and I'm a human. I am one of the humans who won't have s** after meeting someone."
"What is s**?"Chef Kris asks confused
"It's a human term for mating."Nara says and I whisper thanks to her.
"Oh..So no pups?"My advisor Lilith asks confused and I shake my head.
"Not till I'm ready."
Kris, Jamison, Talia, Rowan, and Jack look at me confused."My queen, what are you doing in the kitchen?"Jack asks me confused and I look at him as if he's grown two heads.
(I feel like the comments saying stuff like "Oh, nothing we're just dancing to music in the kitchen." Or something like that)
"I'm cooking."
"My queen,we are your chefs. We will cook for you."Talia says as she puts her brown hair in a ponytail
(Ok..This will be the last time I put my speech into this chapter but here's some info im going to tell you. Talia is based off a character from Dc Called Talia Al Ghul. She is evil and has brown hair and she drugged Batman and forced him to make their son, the last robin. Obviously rape will not be in the book nor in drugging...So, enjoy the dc history lesson...)
"You don't have to. I can cook for now. You guys can take a break till dinner."
They chefs look at me worried
My queen,the king will not like this if we do not serve you.
Jamison says worried and I nod
Oh,I get it.They don't want to die by disobeying Alessandro's orders.I understand that.
I'll tell him that I told you not to cook for me.You guys can take a rest and take care of yourselves for about 7 hours.
I say and as soon as I said that Kris,Jamison,Talia,Rowan,and Jack ran full speed away from the kitchen
Wow.They really are tired.But jobs make you tired.The other women and the packmembers leave Nara and I alone before Nara looks at me confused.
What are you making anyways?
Nara asks me confused
I'm making Ramen with chicken waffle sandwich on the side.
I say and she smiles
Creative.I'll just be making Ramen and popcorn shrimp.
She says and I nod
